Car insurance
In the distant non-European countries the German car insurance is not valid. It has established several providers who offer insurance for certain regions (eg North America).
Some countries accept this insurance but not so fvorort an appropriate insurance policy to be completed. On the following page, we document our experiences.
Shipment
Traveling on different continents requires the shipping of the vehicle over long distances. On our trip to America we will have to organize three shipments. On the following page, we collect the lessons learned.

The satellite phone was purchased from a security standpoint because no "lifeboat" (motorcycle, ATV) is on board. Even without the emergency situation has been spared some way.
